The future is looking bright when it comes to our young people at Earlwood Anglican. If you don’t have much to do with our youth ministry I would like to share three things that are particularly encouraging me at the moment.

Our youth are passionate about reading their Bibles. We have been applying the language and logic of a popular social media platform to encourage our youth to read their Bible consistently and it has taken off. We see teenagers coming to youth group each week eager to share what they have read. It would be really encouraging to ask a young person what they are reading at the moment and share what you are reading as well.

We are also seeing young people seeking the wisdom and experience of older people in our Church. There are more and more who are looking for mature Christians to share their lives together. If you would like to start a discipleship relationship with a young person, please talk to Deb or I.

Finally, many of our Youth are serving their peers at Thirst and Ignite. On Friday we had a youth takeover at Thirst where everything from the MC to the D Team leading was done by the youth. The future is bright indeed. To find out more please find a teenager today and ask them how they are growing today.
